Accident damage appraisal
Why a motorhome needs its own report
Motorhomes and caravans are special vehicles. Equipment, body and individual adaptations make up the largest part of the value – and those are exactly what standard reports regularly set too low or fail to record at all.
Our experts assess chassis and body separately. That includes checking for moisture: an impact that leaves only a dent on the outside can open a seam – and the damage only shows up months later as mould.
Your right to your own expert
If you are not at fault, you have the expressly established right to choose the expert yourself. Report the damage to a neutral expert before the other party’s insurer sends its own inspector – whose client is not you.
We determine the diminished value and the repair costs neutrally and, if you wish, take over the negotiation with the insurer.
Free of charge when the other party is at fault – on the road too
After an accident that was not your fault, the insurer of the party who caused it bears the cost of the independent expert. The report costs you nothing.
Damage while travelling is the rule, not the exception. We come to wherever the vehicle is standing – throughout Germany and across Europe through our network.
Condition report
Before buying, selling and the start of the season
A caravan or motorhome is a second home on wheels. Before you set off it should be clear that everything is in order technically and inside – after that the workshop is a long way away.
An independent expert’s report puts the condition in writing. That gives certainty when buying, arguments when selling and evidence in insurance matters.
What we look at particularly closely
Water and mould damage, creaking in the body, insufficient payload, leaking roof hatches and window frames: those are the defects that tip the value of a leisure vehicle and that you cannot find without a measuring device.
We document the condition and the causes of damage so that you know the repair costs to expect before you sign – not afterwards.
