Accident damage appraisal
Why a sports car needs its own report
On luxury and sports cars, details decide four- and five-figure amounts: carbon parts, custom paintwork, adaptive suspension, ceramic brakes. A standard report works with average figures – and regularly gets it wrong to your disadvantage.
Our experts are trained in the valuation of high-value vehicles and have access to the parts prices and hourly rates of the franchised workshops. The report is structured so that it serves you and your insurer as a basis that can be followed.
Diminished value: the largest item
Even after a proper repair, a repaired vehicle is worth less than one that has never been in an accident. On high-priced vehicles this diminished market value carries particular weight – it can exceed the repair amount.
We determine it in line with the market rather than at a flat rate, taking into account optional equipment, mileage, history and the demand situation for the model in question.
Speed, without cutting corners
A sports car waiting for an appointment with the expert is a sports car standing still. We allocate appointments promptly and produce the report quickly, without taking shortcuts on the documentation. After an accident that was not your fault, the other party’s insurer bears the costs; the choice of expert is yours.
Condition report
What the condition report covers
The sports car condition report is a careful analysis of every vehicle component. We assess the current condition, record the servicing that is due and name defects before they become expensive.
That includes paint thickness measurement on all relevant surfaces, checking the panel gaps and bodywork and complete photo documentation. Repaints and previous damage are named, not glossed over.
For purchase, sale and insurance
Before a purchase the report gives certainty, before a sale arguments, and for insuring an enthusiast vehicle it is often the basis of the agreed value. It is also worthwhile before a lease return – documented condition beats discussion.
You receive the report as a PDF by email, usually the next day.
