Data protection

1. Information on the collection of personal data and contact details of the controller

1.1. Thank you for visiting our website. In the following we would like to inform you about how your personal data is handled when you use our website. Personal data is, in principle, all data by which you can be personally identified.

1.2. The controller for the processing of data on our website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO/GDPR) is:

David Dick
Liliencronstraße 25
DE
Tel: 04018173020
E-Mail: info@pkwgutachter.de

1.3. In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption procedures that correspond to the current state of the art (e.g. SSL or TSL) via HTTPS.

2. Data collection when visiting our website

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically records data and information that your browser transmits to our server (so-called "server log files"). The following data, which is technically necessary for us, is collected in this process:

  • The website of ours that was visited
  • Date and time of access
  • Volume of data sent, in bytes
  • Source/referrer from which you reached the page
  • Operating system used
  • Browser used
  • IP address used (where applicable: in anonymised form)

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and maintaining the functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or otherwise used. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary in order to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

We reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively should there be concrete indications of unlawful use. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of data collected for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

In the case of data stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond that period is possible. In this case, the users' IP addresses are deleted or altered so that it is no longer possible to assign them to the accessing client. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no right to object.

We use the Ecwid shop system. This is operated by Ecwid, Inc. (Ecwid Inc., 144 West D Street, Suite 103, Encinitas, California 92024, USA), which is based in the USA.

You can find further information on data protection at Ecwid here: https://www.ecwid.com/eu-privacy-policy

3. Cookies

Our website uses cookies.

Cookies are text files that are stored on the user's device. When a user accesses a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary that the browser is recognised again even after moving to another page. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles. The purposes stated above also constitute our legitimate interest in processing personal data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

In addition, our website may use cookies that enable an analysis of users' browsing behaviour (so-called third-party cookies). You will find further information on the scope, purpose, legal basis and options for objecting in the relevant sections of the respective chapter of this privacy policy.

As a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can deactivate, restrict or delete the transmission of cookies. If you deactivate cookies for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent. You can prevent the transmission of Flash cookies by changing the settings of the Flash Player.

You will find help on the settings in the relevant help menu of your browser or under the following links:

Some of the cookies used here are deleted again after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information, such as browser and location data as well as IP address values, to an individually varying extent. Persistent cookies are deleted automatically after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie.

The checkout solution used here from Klarna (Klarna Bank AB (publ.), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) uses cookies in order to give you a smooth experience when using Klarna's checkout.

You will find more information on the individual cookies and an explanation of their respective purpose for Germany at http://cdn.klarna.com/1.0/shared/content/policy/cookie/de_de/checkout.pdf and here for Austria https://cdn.klarna.com/1.0/shared/content/policy/cookie/de_at/checkout.pdf.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form, the data entered in the input mask is transmitted to us and stored. The data collected can be seen from the respective input mask. When contacting us by e-mail, only the data you enter there is transmitted to us.

The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation and your enquiry. The legal basis for processing the data, where the user has given consent, is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The legal basis for processing data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the e-mail contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and the data sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation has ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter concerned has been conclusively clarified. The user has the option of withdrawing their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by e-mail, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

4.1. WhatsApp Business

Visitors to our website have the option of communicating with us via WhatsApp (a service of Meta Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA).

For this we use the so-called "business version" of WhatsApp. If you contact us via WhatsApp in connection with a specific contract, we store and use the mobile telephone number you use with WhatsApp and – if published and/or transmitted – your first and last name (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for the purpose of processing your enquiry.

Where necessary, you will be asked to provide further data if this is required in order to process your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If contact via WhatsApp Business is used for general enquiries that do not concern a specific contract, we store and use the mobile telephone number you use with WhatsApp and – if published and/or provided – your first and last name (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the purpose of processing your enquiry.

Our legitimate interest here lies in answering the questions of our customers or prospective customers promptly.

The data is not passed on to third parties.

WhatsApp Business receives access to the address book of the mobile device used for it. In doing so, telephone numbers stored there are automatically transmitted to a Facebook server in the USA.

The mobile device we use for WhatsApp Business contains only the WhatsApp contact details of those users who have already contacted us via WhatsApp.

For data transfers from the European Economic Area to the USA, WhatsApp relies on standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. For further details on the handling of data by WhatsApp, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy notice: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy

5. Data processing when opening a customer account and for contract processing

If you wish to place an order in our web shop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide the personal data we require to process your order. We process the data you provide in order to process your order.

In some cases we work together with external service providers in order to process your order. For this purpose we have to pass on the personal data required for this.

Insofar as we commission transport companies to deliver your goods, we pass on the data required for the delivery of the goods to the respective transport company. To process payments, we pass on your data to the commissioned credit institution to the extent necessary. If we use payment service providers, you will also be informed of this below.

The legal basis for passing on your data is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

6. Data processing for order handling

Easybill

Order handling (in particular the creation of invoices) takes place via the service provider "easybill" (easybill GmbH, Düsselstr. 21, 41564 Kaarst). We transmit your name, your address and, where applicable, further personal data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to easybill solely for the purpose of processing your order and only to the extent necessary. You will find details on data protection at easybill and easybill's privacy policy on easybill's website at www.easybill.de.

6.1. External service providers for order processing and order handling

Use of payment service providers

6.3. Apple Pay

If the payment method "Apple Pay" (a service of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland) is selected, payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored by you with "Apple Pay".

Your transaction is protected by means of the security functions of your device's hardware and software. If a payment is to be authorised, it must be authorised by entering a code and verification by means of the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.

The information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form for the purpose of payment processing. This data is then encrypted again by Apple and subsequently transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay in order to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website on which the order was placed can access the payment data.

After the payment, Apple sends the device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the shop website in order to confirm the payment.

Personal data may be processed in the course of the aforementioned operations. In that case this takes place for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

When using Apple Pay on an iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on a Mac, the Mac and the authorisation device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple may process or store data in this process. However, this takes place in a format by which you cannot be personally identified.

Information on data protection for Apple Pay can be found here: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

6.4. Google Pay

If the payment method "Google Pay" (a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google")) is selected, the payment processing is arranged via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device running Android (at least 4.4 "KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function. Payment is made via one of the payment cards stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). In order to authorise a payment via Google Pay of more than EUR 25.00, you must first unlock your mobile device. The information you provide when ordering is passed on to Google for the purpose of payment processing. Google generates a one-off transaction number that is transmitted to the ordering website in order to verify the payment. This transaction number is merely a numerical token that contains no information about your data. The actual transaction is carried out between the user and the ordering website by charging the means of payment stored with Google Pay. Personal data may be processed in the course of the described operations. In that case the processing takes place for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The terms of use of Google Pay can be found here: https://payments.google.com/payments/apis-secure/u/0/get_legal_document?ldo=0&ldt=googlepaytos&ldl=de

Further information on data protection at Google Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://payments.google.com/payments/apis-secure/get_legal_document?ldo=0&ldt=privacynotice&ldl=de

Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: https://business.safety.google/privacy/

PayPal

If the payment method PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on account" or "instalment payment" via PayPal is selected, payment is processed via PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal").

We pass on your personal data to PayPal pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to the extent necessary. For the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on account" or "instalment payment" via PayPal, PayPal reserves the right to carry out a credit check.

For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of PayPal's legitimate interest in establishing your solvency. PayPal uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of payment default for the purpose of deciding whether to make the respective payment method available.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data is included, among other things but not exclusively, in the calculation of the score values.

Which further data is collected by PayPal follows from PayPal's respective privacy policy. This can be found at: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to PayPal. However, PayPal may still remain entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.

Stripe

If a payment method of the payment service provider Stripe is selected, payment is processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Block 4, Harcourt Centre, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter "stripe").

We pass on your personal data together with the information about your order (name, address, account number, bank sort code, credit card number where applicable, invoice amount, currency and transaction number) to stripe pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR solely for the purpose of payment processing and only to the extent necessary.

You will receive a review reminder from Google by e-mail.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller responsible for processing your data or to Google.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller responsible for processing your data or to provenexpert.

9. Use of social media: video

Use of YouTube videos

On this website we use the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider "YouTube", which belongs to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). In doing so we use the extended data protection mode, which according to the provider only initiates the storage of user information once the video or videos are played. When you start playing embedded YouTube videos, the provider "YouTube" uses cookies in order to collect information about your user behaviour. According to "YouTube", these serve, among other things, to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive conduct. If you are logged in to Google at the time, your data is assigned directly to your account.

If you do not wish the assignment to your YouTube profile to take place, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates it. Such an evaluation takes place in particular pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interests in the display of personalised advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of a website; likewise, our legitimate interest in embedding the videos pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR lies in the evaluation of user behaviour, the design of our website in accordance with user interests and the realisation of the financial potential of our website.

You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube in order to exercise it. Irrespective of whether the embedded videos are played, a connection to the Google network "DoubleClick" is established each time this website is accessed, which may trigger further data processing operations beyond our influence.

Data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. You will find further information on data protection at "YouTube" in the provider's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. 10. Online marketing

10.1. Use of Google Ads conversion tracking

This website uses the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and, within the framework of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

In this context, our offers are advertised on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords). Our legitimate interest lies in displaying advertising that is of interest to you and in achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google Ads uses cookies for conversion tracking, which are set when you click on an AdWords advertisement placed by Google.

These cookies generally expire after 30 days and do not serve to identify you personally. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie, which is why cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Ads customers either.

The information obtained in this way serves to compile conversion statistics for Ads customers on the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were forwarded to a page bearing a conversion tracking tag.

You cannot be personally identified by this.

If you wish to prevent the tracking, you can deactivate the cookie of the Google conversion tracking via your internet browser under user settings.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European data protection agreement "EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework", which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. You can permanently deactivate the conversion cookies by setting your browser accordingly, or download and install the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

In that case, certain functions of this website may not be usable, or only to a limited extent.

10.3. ADCELL partner programme (Firstlead GmbH)

We participate in the partner programme "ADCELL" (Firstlead GmbH, Rosenfelder St. 15-16, 10315 Berlin) (hereinafter "ADCELL").

ADCELL stores cookies on your device in order to document transactions (e.g. leads and sales). Storage takes place when you click on an advertisement containing the partner link. These cookies serve solely the purpose of documenting the success of an advertising medium and the corresponding billing within the network. ADCELL uses so-called tracking pixels, by means of which information such as visitor traffic on the pages can be evaluated.

The information generated by cookies and tracking pixels (including the IP address) is transmitted to an ADCELL server and stored there. This data, such as your IP address, is not merged with other stored data. ADCELL may under certain circumstances pass this information, which is anonymised, on to contractual partners.

Insofar as personal data is involved, the processing takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, namely your express consent.

You can block cookies by adjusting your browser settings.

You also have the option of deactivating the data processing at www.adcell.de/datenschutz.

12. Rights of the data subject

12.1. Applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (rights to information and intervention) vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data, about which we inform you below:

  • Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR: You may request confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by the controller. In addition, you have a right to information about the purpose, the categories of personal data, the recipients, the planned duration of storage and the existence of further rights such as rectification of the data or the existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved and the significance for you and the intended effects of such processing, as well as your right to be informed of the safeguards that exist pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR when your data is transferred to third countries.
  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: You have a right to the immediate rectification of incorrect data concerning you and/or the completion of your incomplete data stored by us; rectification or completion must take place without delay.
  • Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data for as long as the accuracy of your data contested by you is being verified, if you refuse the erasure of your data on account of unlawful data processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you require your data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims after we no longer need this data once the purpose has been achieved, or if you have lodged an objection on grounds relating to your particular situation, for as long as it has not yet been established whether our legitimate grounds prevail. If the processing of the personal data concerning you has been restricted, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or on grounds of an important public interest of the Union or a Member State. If the restriction of processing has been restricted, you will be informed by the controller before the restriction is lifted.
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to the immediate erasure of your personal data if the conditions of Art. 17(1) GDPR are met. However, this right to erasure does not exist in particular – but not exclusively – where the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • Right to notification pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the controller is obliged to communicate this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of processing to all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You also have the right to be informed about these recipients.
  • Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller, insofar as this is technically feasible.
  • Right of withdrawal pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You furthermore have the right to withdraw your data protection consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR: Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

12.2. Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time with effect for the future if we process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest following a balancing of interests.

If you make use of this right to object, we will cease processing your data unless demonstrably overriding compelling legitimate grounds preclude such cessation, or unless the further processing serves the exercise or defence of legal claims.

13. Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of storage of personal data depends in each case on statutory retention periods. After these have expired, we routinely delete the data if it is no longer required for the performance or initiation of a contract and/or if no legitimate interest in continued storage remains on our part.

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is all data by which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy set out below this text.

Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?

The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice (Impressum) of this website.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, by you providing it to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter in a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected in order to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to request the rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. For this and for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice (Impressum). You furthermore have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and third-party tools

When you visit our website, your browsing behaviour may be evaluated statistically. This takes place primarily by means of cookies and so-called analysis programmes. The analysis of your browsing behaviour is generally anonymous; the browsing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. You will find detailed information on this in the following privacy policy.

General information and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this takes place.

We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the responsible body

You can find the body responsible for data processing on this website in the legal notice (Impressum) of this website.

The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses or similar).

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent already given at any time. An informal message to us by e-mail is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of infringements of data protection law, the data subject has a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the Landesdatenschutzbeauftragter (state data protection commissioner) of the federal state in which our company has its registered office. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found under the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, erasure

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. For this and for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice (Impressum).

Objection to advertising e-mails

The use of contact data published within the framework of the legal notice obligation for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.

The web pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and that your browser stores.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your browsing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form therefore takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal message to us by e-mail is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data ceases to apply (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content-related structuring or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our web pages (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary in order to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

The customer data collected is deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transfer upon conclusion of contract for online shops, retailers and shipment of goods

We transfer personal data to third parties only where this is necessary within the framework of contract processing, for example to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or to the credit institution commissioned with payment processing. No further transfer of the data takes place, or only where you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data is not passed on to third parties without express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its web offering and its advertising.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services connected with website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can furthermore prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Processing on behalf

We have concluded a contract on processing on behalf with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This makes it possible to generate reports containing statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data originates from interest-based advertising by Google and from visitor data of third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to any specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as set out in the section "Objection to data collection".

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. Matomo uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before storage.

Matomo cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

Matomo cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its web offering and its advertising.

The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is not passed on to third parties. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data, you can deactivate storage and use here. In this case an opt-out cookie is placed in your browser which prevents Matomo from storing usage data. If you delete your cookies, this has the consequence that the Matomo opt-out cookie is also deleted. The opt-out must be activated again when you next visit our site.

Facebook Pixel

For conversion measurement, our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").

This makes it possible to track the behaviour of site visitors after they have been forwarded to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data use policy. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

In Facebook's privacy notice you will find further information on the protection of your privacy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

You can also deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" in the advertisement settings area at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do so you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw the consent given to the storage of the data and the e-mail address and to their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data you have deposited with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and is deleted after you cancel the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members' area) remains unaffected by this.

Plugins and tools

YouTube

Our website uses plugins of the site YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. In doing so, the YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You will find further information on the handling of user data in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
